Born in Mexico and now calling Calgary home for nearly two decades, I’ve always been drawn to photography in one way or another. Funny enough, it didn’t start with landscape photography or even with National Geographic. Growing up, I spent countless hours flipping through the pages of F1 Racing magazine (now GP Racing), fascinated by the imagery — glowing brake discs, sparks flying from cars bottoming out, and perfectly timed moments frozen in motion. Those photographs sparked my love for the craft long before I ever picked up a camera seriously.

Moving to Alberta reignited that passion in a completely different way. Living in Calgary means being surrounded by incredible contrasts: the Rockies just an hour to the west, and the endless skies of the Canadian prairies stretching eastward. Exploring those landscapes inspired me to look at photography beyond motorsports and reconnect with it through travel, nature, and everyday moments.

At heart, I’m simply someone who loves photography and the experience of exploring new places with a camera in hand. I’m also proud to be accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) in the Travel Illustration category, which has encouraged me to keep pushing and refining my craft.

These days, I still enjoy anything with four wheels and an engine, but my focus is on capturing the places, light, and moments that make this part of the world so special. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoy creating them, and I’d love for you to connect or leave a comment.
